Planet Bid is a reverse auction site where users have to pay for the right to bid on an auction.  There is a fee for placing bids on item. This fee allows us to give away items for a fraction of the actual retail price. Planet Bid is meant to be a fun way of grabbing a few bargains, not a substitute for purchasing the item itself.
